ADAM Professional Audio—based in Berlin, Germany, and celebrating 10 years of manufacturing critically acclaimed and award-winning professional studio monitors—has hired Robert Caputo as president of ADAM Audio USA in Westlake Village, Calif. Caputo will oversee all aspects of business in the U.S. market and is tasked with expanding on the growth the company has enjoyed for the past several years, and advancing the strategic vision set forth by ADAM in Berlin.

ADAM plans to grow further by building on the original success of its S Series as well as the more recent popularity of A7 and A5 monitors, implementing the U.S. launch of the recently unveiled SX Series high-end monitors, and establishing ADAM's lines of Hi-fi, Home Theater, and Installation speakers in the U.S. market.

"ADAM enjoys a prestigious reputation in the U.S. and worldwide for the quality and performance of their products," says Caputo of his new position. "I'm looking forward to the challenge of continuing the expansion of the ADAM brand as the needs and expectations of customers change together with opening up new areas of business in the varied and competitive U.S. market."

Caputo brings a wealth of pro audio and consumer electronics experience to ADAM. He most recently held the position of vice president of sales for the jWIN Electronics Corporation, as well as previous positions with Casio Inc., Samson Technologies Corp., Sam Ash Professional and Atlantic Records.
