This Saturday, November 14, Atlanta-based Patchwerk Recording Studios and I Do Music are co-sponsoring the second annual Sound for Worship Workshop, presented by the Atlanta Section of the Audio Engineering Society. The workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Greater Traveler's Rest Baptist Church in Decatur, Ga., located at 4650 Flat Shoals Parkway.

All are welcome to attend this workshop, which will address the unique requirements of producing sound for worship. Experienced audio professionals will present the workshop. Lunch will be provided.

The workshop will cover "Expectation and Reality in the Sound Booth (Bill Thrasher), "Digital Audio with the Media Matrix NION" (Mark Nichols), "Line Array Configuration" (David Martin and Scott Floyd), "The Art of Mixing Relationships" (Kent Morris), "Monitor Mixing-The Details" (Casey Johnson), a "Tour of Greater Traveler’s Rest Church" (Corey Smith) and a roundtable discussion among all presenters.
