Producer/engineer Alan Parsons is offering a free live Webcast on recording technology on Thursday, March 31, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Pacific Time. The "Ask Alan!" Webcast will be moderated by Keyfax NewMedia and hosted by Alan Parsons’ Art & Science Of Sound Recording video series.

Participants will be invited to ask Alan questions about his career, or recording technology in general. One copy of the Alan Parsons’ Art & Science of Sound Recording DVD set, signed by Alan, goes to the writer of the best question.

The Webcast is also accessible via Twitter hash tag #AlanParsonsLive and via Facebook Live Stream. A Ustream video feed will let viewers see Alan in his personal studio in California. A Web Radio Stream will broadcast reference songs and audio material. Keyboard magazine editor Steve Fortner will conduct a live interview on the Yamaha Motif.

Following the Webcast, questions and Alan’s answers will be archived in the A.S.S.R. Forum.
