Architectural Acoustics, a division of Peavey Electronics Corporation, showed the Impulse 2652 two-way, permanent installation loudspeaker at NSCA 2004.

The Impulse 2652 is a fill speaker for voice and live music sound reinforcement in houses of worship, auditoriums, gymnasiums, restaurants and any application requiring a visually unobtrusive loudspeaker. The cabinet's trapezoidal design allows placement in wall corners, on columns or under balconies, and each Impulse 2652 ships with four threaded inserts for flying with capability for wall-mounting through the SV™ 2652 accessory.

The system comprises two 61/2-inch woofers and one 22XT™ compression driver coupled to a conical, high-frequency horn, and can handle 150 watts continuous power (300W program and 600W peak). The enclosure also includes a four-position barrier strip and Neutrik Speakon input.

The Impulse 2652 is manufactured using 18mm, 13-ply baltic birch and is available in a gray lacquer finish with a black grille or a natural finish with a white grille.
