This ultrahigh-resolution, stereo, 31-band, 24-bit/96kHz EQ, feedback destroyer and dynamics processor is engineered for EQ, P.A. and RTA audiophile mastering applications. It is expected to ship in fourth quarter of 2003.

The DEQ1024 maintains a true analog user interface with real faders and no obtrusive menus. Its True Curve function allows translation of fader positions into the corresponding frequency response, while the FBQ Detection system instantly shows critical frequencies and also functions as an audio analyzer.

Its automatic and ultrafast feedback destroyer plus feedback indication via fader LEDs helps solve feedback problems, while a noise gate/peak limiter function and a stereo imager provide for spatial enhancement. Additional sweepable high- and low-cut filters remove high-frequency noise and unwanted frequencies. An integrated pink-noise generator enables room and loudspeaker equalization. On the connection side, digital AES/EBU and S/PDIF interfaces and selectable sample rates (44.1, 48, 96 kHz), gold-plated XLR and 1/4-inch TRS are offered. Ultrahigh-resolution, 24-bit/96kHz AD/DA converters and high-performance 24/48-bit Motorola DSPs guarantee comes equipped, and a relay-controlled hard bypass with an auto-bypass function lets user continue audio work during power failure. Highly accurate, 2x 12-digit LED meters make easy input and output level setting possible, while ultrahigh-quality, illuminated 45mm faders, sealed rotary controls and illuminated switches are also available, as well as servo-balanced inputs and outputs guarantee large headroom. The internal switch-mode power supply is offered from 100 to 240 volts.
