Michael Tomkin, president of Production Resource Group (PRG), has announced that Carl Davidson, vice president of corporate business development for PRG, will be spearheading a company-wide initiative to increase awareness and utilization of PRG's services in the tradeshow industry.

"PRG currently serves many clients in the tradeshow industry," said Tomkin, "but many are unaware of the full extent of PRG's services. We are just now launching many new technologies that will greatly expand the range of possibilities in tradeshow exhibit design."

PRG's initiative will include demonstrations of the company's new technologies, including Mbox, a video server that enables all of the lighting, video and projection elements in an exhibit to be controlled by a single lighting console. Mbox comes with a wide array of special effects that can be utilized with both still and video images. It also allows a user to perform rapid onsite image editing.

Carl Davidson joined PRG in 2003 after gaining two decades of experience in the tradeshow industry. He had previously served in account executive and sales management positions at several leading exhibit houses.

"After spending many years developing solutions for tradeshow exhibitors," stated Carl, "I understand the many challenges associated with helping them achieve their marketing objectives. I look forward to helping my colleagues take advantage of the many new entertainment technologies that can give them the winning solution."
