Sennheiser Communications, the telecommunications division of Sennheiser Electronic Corporation, appointed industry veteran Dean Gonzalez to Western regional sales manager. In this position, Gonzalez will establish a network of sales reps and distributors throughout a large portion of the United States, stretching from North Dakota to all parts of the West Coast, excluding Texas.

Gonzalez will be based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and will report directly to Bill Whearty, VP of Sennheiser Communications. "Dean has all the professional qualifications and industry experience to help grow our network rapidly and effectively," said Whearty. "His energy and expertise will be key assets for the company as we continue to develop the key relationships and networks to help us reach our goals."

"I've long been an admirer of the quality and innovation that go into Sennheiser products," Gonzalez said. "With Sennheiser's stellar reputation in the headphone and professional audio markets, unsurpassed customer service and the powerful momentum the division has shown already, I'm excited to hit the ground running."

Gonzalez comes to Sennheiser Communications from Koss Communications, a West Coast-based interconnect company, where he was director of sales. In this capacity, Gonzalez opened new sales territories. He also spent six years with headset manufacturer ACS (which has since been acquired by GN Netcom), where he served as regional manager and OEM manager.
