Stockholm-based DM Audio AB has provided sound reinforcement for the Songs of Life concert at the city’s Globe Arena. The show was staged by Lakarmissionen, the Swedish Medical Mission Foundation, and featured an all-star cast, including top Swedish artist Sanna Nielsen (pictured), the comprised more than 3,000 singers and a full symphony orchestra.

The high-powered Martin W8L line array system, as well as the monitors, was driven by QSC PowerLight amplifiers, including PL9.0, PL4.0, PL1.8, PL38x and PL236 models. Using QSC’s QSControl software, the amps were all monitored and controlled via Ethernet.

“The PowerLights are really the heart of this system,” said DM Audio’s Lars Wern. “We run them constantly in the most demanding circumstances, and they’re just amazingly solid.” QSC’s Scandinavian distributors, EM Nordic, supplied the amps.
