New from DPA Microphones is the MPS6001 Miniature Power Supply, designed to work with the entire range of DPA miniature microphones in situations where phantom power is not available. The 1-channel battery-operated MPS6001 also functions as a 48-volt phantom power adapter as the battery is bypassed when supplied with phantom power.

In live music situations, especially in small venues where 48V phantom power is not always available, the MPS6001 functions as an invaluable safety device, providing artists with their own battery-operated power supply complete with a useful belt clip for easy onstage handling. The MPS6001 features a 3-pin XLR output with mechanical on/off switch inside the XLR housing, saving battery power when not connected to an XLR plug.
