The new M-fire M9600 stand-alone, 24-bit/96kHz DVD recorder is designed as a stereo mastering deck for high-quality audio. This three-rackspace unit supports the existing DVD-Video format, allowing finished discs to be played back on a standard DVD player. The M-fire is fully functional as a rewritable machine and uses DVD-RW, DVD-R, CD-R and CD-RWs.

In CD mode, discs can be written at 16-bit/44.1 kHz. Features include a straight-forward, tape deck-style button layout; user-friendly VFD display menu; stereo analog inputs/outputs; 24-bit/96kHz converters; S/PDIF coaxial and AES/EBU digital formats; wireless remote control; 1/4-inch headphone monitor port with volume control; sampling frequency support of 44.1/48/96 kHz; and more.
