Furman Sound, Inc. has expanded its line of balanced power products with the introduction of an ultrahigh-performance model. The IT-Reference, part of the company’s IT-Series, is a design variation of Furman’s IT-1220 model. Both models are 20-amp units and utilize Furman’s high-current, ultralow-impedance transformer technology.

Additionally, the IT-Reference has individual windings. The IT-Reference also includes unique power-correction circuitry, which gives power amplifiers and powered speakers the ability to produce powerful dynamics with speed and. Additionally, the soundstage is remarkably deepened, widened and focused.

The IT-Series includes models with 120V inputs at 10, 20 and 30-amp ratings. In addition, an international series of 220V to 240V input models are available with country-specific receptacles, with ratings of 13 to 15 amps.
