The Hit Factory (New York) and Crescent Moon Studios (Miami) have both recently purchased ATR-102 analog mastering recorders in the new 1-inch 2-track format. Both machines were modified and completely remanufactured by Michael Spitz of ATR Services in York, Pa.
With their own in-house machines, both facilities can offer clients immediate availability of “wide-track” analog mixdown—a format that complements high-resolution digital recording systems.
