The newest division of Masque Sound, Masque Live, is currently on tour with R&B superstar Brian McKnight. The sound package includes Cadacs R-Type consoles, for front of house and monitors, V-DOSC loudspeakers powered by Camco amplifiers and proprietary Valvotronics tube pre amps, limiters and parametric equalizers.

Sound engineer Glen Odagawa said, “It is the closest thing to mixing in a studio I have ever experienced. After mixing on Masque’s system, I have been so spoiled, I can never go back.”

Masque Live is directed by longtime sound designer and touring audio engineer Lucas “Rico” Corrubia Jr., who has worked with Frank Sinatra, Liza Minelli, Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford, as well as with Pete Townshend of The Who for the Broadway production of Tommy.

According to Corrubia, “I am proud to have the opportunity to offer amazing equipment and Masque’s technical expertise to concert acts such as Brain McKnight, Tony Bennett and Phil Collins. Usually in a large concert setting, the goal is big, loud over-the-crowd sound. Our systems accomplish this while providing the full, rich dynamic range and fidelity that our clients deserve.”

Masque Live can be contacted at 800/307-8666.
