Behringer launched the high-performance UltraBass cabinet series, comprising four cabinets with aluminum-cone loudspeakers (BA “Hard Attack” Series) and four cabinets with paper-cone speakers (BB “Classic Tone” Series).

The “Hard Attack” speakers provide superfast response and high definition, revealing transparency and punchy mids. The BA Series includes the BA115 (600W, 1x15-inch aluminum speaker and 1-inch tweeter), the BA210 (500W, 2x10-inch aluminum speakers and 1-inch tweeter), the BA410 (1,000W, 4x10-inch aluminum speakers and 1-inch tweeter) and the BA810 (2,000W, 8x10-inch aluminum speakers and 1-inch tweeter).

The “Classic Tone” loudspeakers deliver high impact and characteristic warmth. The BB Series includes the BB115 (600W, 1x15-inch speaker and 1-inch tweeter), the BB210 (500W, 2x10-inch speakers and 1-inch tweeter), the BB410 (1,000Watts, 4x10-inch speakers and 1-inch tweeter) and the BB810 (2,000W, 8x10-inch speakers and 1-inch tweeter).

All UltraBass cabinets feature a reinforced-chamber, front-ported design and outstanding loudspeaker(s), plus a switchable 1-inch custom-made horn tweeter for high-end punch on-demand, remotely switchable via footswitch or the Behringer MIDI Foot Controller FCB1010. Input and link outputs on 1/4-inch TS, and professional standard connectors compatible to Neutrik Speakon series are provided. Sturdy, nonprotruding oversize carrying handles are flush with the cabinet surface, and with the integrated high-quality casters, they ensure easy transportation. Reinforced metal corners are found on every cabinet.

The UltraBass cabinets will ship in the third quarter 2004. For more information, visit For more new sound reinforcement products, visit To read Mix's Musikmesse report, visit
