Venue Services Group (VSG), a national systems integration firm that provides engineering, design and installation of television facilities, has introduced sports television executive Dave Shaw as the company’s new president. Shaw brings an industry-wide reputation for technological innovation and operational excellence including development of HDTV to VSG’s integration firm, a subsidiary of National Mobile Television.

Prior to joining VSG, Shaw spent 23 years at the Madison Square Garden Network (MSG). He worked his way through company ranks, culminating in his most recent position as the network’s senior VP of technical operations. While at MSG, Shaw oversaw the television integration of the recently renovated Radio City Music Hall, providing a modernized HDTV-ready cabling facility to the landmark. He also was responsible for the HD cabling integration of MSG, Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Continental Arena and Nassau Coliseum. Shaw was the television liaison for many events at Madison Square Garden, including the NBA Finals, NHL Stanley Cup Finals, NBA All-Star Game, WNBA All-Star Game, The Grammy Awards and World Cup Hockey.
