Propellerhead Software, the Swedish manufacturers of Reason, Recycle! and ReBirth, announced its sponsorship of the Red Bull Music Academy in Sao Paolo, Brazil, by providing advance copies of Reason and Recycle! for all production workshops.

The Red Bull Academy is a two-week seminar in DJ culture that encompasses music history, technology, production and business skills. This year, the academy had 1,600 applicants from 45 countries; 60 of them have been invited to attend these workshops.

The Red Bull Music Academy provides a platform for the exchange of musical knowledge and ideas between guest lecturers and participants. "We really appreciate that the Red Bull Academy is fueled by the drive to enable people--in this case, DJs--to reach for their creative potential. It's that same drive that inspires our products: We provide the tools and the Academy provides knowledge and networking," commented Ernst Nathorst-Böös, managing director of Propellerhead Software. "We are pleased to sponsor this event and hope it encourages other companies to sponsor such educational opportunities for young people."

"Having Propellerheads' sponsorship is a great plus for the Academy," said Many Ameri, director of the Red Bull Music Academy. "Its innovative software is ideal for all different levels of musicians or DJs to jump in and start making music right away."
