Norah Jones recently stepped into Avatar’s Studio C to work on her upcoming release for Blue Note Records.

Also in at Avatar were Iggy and the Stooges for a Sessions@AOL taping for Virgin Records and AOL Music. The recording was engineered by Gregg Thompson, with live sound duties handled by Avatar’s Anthony Ruotolo. Jazz artist Claudia Acuna recently recorded her new release with engineer Joe Ferla; Brian Montgomery assisted. Telarc Records stopped by to record Benny Green and McCoy Tyner SACDs. Jack Renner engineered with help from Brian Montgomery and Brian Doris. Hiro Komuro operated the Sonoma DSD recorder.
