Christina Aguilera completed her fourth full-length studio album, Bionic, in sessions with mastering engineer Brian "Big Bass" Gardner at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Hollywood. Bionic is Aguilera's first studio album since Back to Basics in 2006.

Aguilera describes Bionic as a unique mix of many genres and styles of music: "I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements, with subject matter ranging from playful to introspective. This allowed me to challenge myself by using my voice in ways I never had before. Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience."

The first single from the new RCA/Sony album, titled "Not Myself Tonight," premiered on March 30. Two days before the June 8 release of Bionic, Aguilera will perform at MTV's 19th annual Movie Awards Show, live in Los Angeles on June 6 at 9 p.m. Eastern.
