Bricasti Design in Medford, Mass., has appointed Damon Gramont (pictured) as its new director of sales. Gramont joins the company after eight years with Summit Audio, where he was VP of sales, and will be responsible for providing enhanced strategic support for the company’s current sales network. Summit Audio formerly served as Bricasti Design's North American distributor.

Gramont will oversee Bricasti Design's U.S. sales and provide additional marketing and international sales and support for the Model 7 Stereo Reverb Processor, Model 10 Remote Console, and other products currently in development.

"I am very pleased to join Bricasti Design, one of the companies in our industry that I most admire," Gramont says. "Founded by Brian Zolner and Casey Dowdell, Bricasti is a pioneer in the field of reverberation and audio design. I look forward to infusing my passion for marketing and sales, and being a part of the company's next chapter."

"Damon will be an integral part of our management team," says Bricasti co-founder Brian Zolner, "with primary responsibility for U.S. sales, customer relations and overall market development. We have an extensive domestic and international distribution channel; Damon will help us build and maintain relationships that focus on customer satisfaction with lasting, long-term partnerships. We look to Damon to play a key role in marketing/brand development, with a specific eye for detail and a belief in the importance of a quality presentation."

Bricasti Design will exhibit at the upcoming Winter NAMM 2011 show in Anaheim, Calif. (January 13-16) in Hall A, booth #6898.
