On Saturday, April 25, Five Towns College in Dix Hills (Long Island), N.Y., is offering a career conference featuring panel discussions by experts in the fields of music, music business, film, audio recording and theater.

Panel discussions will be presented about career opportunities in the following fields:

• Music Business and the Entertainment Industry (11-11:45 a.m.)
• Filmmaking and Video Production (12-12:45 p.m.)
• Audio Recording in the Entertainment Industry (1-1:45 p.m.)
• Music and Music Education (2-2:45 p.m.)
• Theater Arts (3-3:45 p.m.)

A question and answer period will follow the panel discussion. Plus, classroom and studio presentations will be held throughout the day.

In addition, Five Towns College will hold open house events on Saturday, May 9; Saturday, June 13; and Saturday, July 11, all beginning at 1 p.m. The July 11 open house will feature only audio recording technology, while the May 9 and June 13 open houses will feature music, music education, music performance, musical theater, music business, audio recording technology, film/video, mass communication, theater arts and childhood education. Faculty, staff and students will conduct presentations and tours.
