Group One Ltd. of Farmingdale, N.Y. has appointed John Sanchez (pictured) as sales associate, expanding its dedicated in-house support staff. Sanchez now provides internal customer support on all product lines that Group One distributes, including UK-based brands MC2 Audio Ltd. and XTA Electronics, while emphasizing the Celestion line. Sanchez covers product specs, application and operation, along with pricing, availability and follow-up on orders.

Sanchez brings specialized experience and a comprehensive skill set to his new role at Group One. A former sales associate for prominent retailers Manny’s Music and Alto Music, Sanchez has years of experience as a guitar instructor and has also toured nationally with metal band Blood Has Been Shed. Sanchez is technically proficient in instrument repair and P.A. installation, as well.

"We are fortunate to have John join us at this time," says Group One Ltd. president Jack Kelly. "With his extensive retail music background, John understands customer service through the retail channel. With another year of strong growth in 2006, and 2007 looking very positive, I felt it was time to add to the support team at Group One to maintain our reputation for customer support."

Group One Ltd. is the exclusive U.S. distributor for Blue Sky International, Celestion Professional Products, MC2 Audio Ltd. and XTA Electronics, as well as a number of prominent lighting products.
