Grund Audio Design, a manufacturer of loudspeaker and signal processing products, announces the DP-26C Loudspeaker Processor ($1,299 MSRP), a single-rackspace unit designed for loudspeaker management tasks for both live sound and fixed installation applications. The DP-26C offers DSP capability including true 96kHz resolution, two-in/six-out functionality, operation from an external personal computer or via front panel access, and additional processing choices.

The DP-26C manages phase response and allows users to define a flat amplitude response with a 90-degree phase rotation at the selected frequency, as well as a flat amplitude response with a 180-degree phase rotation at the selected frequency.

The DP-26C offers onboard audio processing, and its user interface lets users define system parameters via an external Windows PC and quickly see and adjust settings while maintaining a "global" visual perspective of the system. The DP-26C’s software interface runs on Windows XP, Vista and 7; Grund Audio Design states that Macintosh support is coming soon. Full functionality is also available via the unit’s front panel controls.
