Audio Precision’s QuickTest application enables Audio Precision audio analyzers to quickly and accurately test playback-only devices, such as MP3 players and CD players.
QuickTest is a macro that launches a simplified interface for the Audio Precision ATS-2 and 2700 Series audio analyzers and automatically measures the performance of devices by playing a proprietary “multitone.” Results for DC offset, output level, distortion, frequency response, phase deviation, noise and crosstalk are displayed onscreen against pre-defined pass/fail limits, and all measurements are saved in a file for later analysis. A single device can be tested in less than 30 seconds.
To find out more, visit the Audio Precision Website and download the QuickTest Technote at www.audioprecision.com/direct.php?page=support&category=&id=1000001046 (free registration is required).
