Danley Sound Labs is incorporating its Synergy Horn and Tapped Horn technologies in its new SH-96 loudspeaker, which will launch at InfoComm 2008 (June 14-20, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North and Central Halls). Promising unrivalled output, fidelity, accuracy and overall frequency response, the SH-96 combines 11 drivers—four 15-inch woofers, six 5-inch midrange drivers and a single 1.4-inch high-frequency compression driver—in a single enclosure.
Sensitivity of the SH-96 is 103 dB with a power handling capability of 2,800 watts RMS and a frequency response of 50 to 18k Hz (+/-3dB). The enclosure is constructed from braced Baltic birch, measures 26.5x45x25 inches (HxWxD) and weighs 215 pounds.
Its first installation will be in the renovation of the IMAX theater on Navy Pier in Chicago, followed by the Morrison Center at Boise State University.
Danley Sound Labs will exhibit at InfoComm in booth #C5069.
