EAW has promoted Jon Bosaw (pictured) to the newly created position of Director of Sales & Business. The appointment was announced by Jeffrey Cox, Vice President of the EAW Brand Group.

Bosaw brings 25-plus years of pro audio experience to the position, where he will continue to manage EAW’s overall business strategies. Bosaw will also lead the company’s domestic sales efforts by directing EAW’s team of 17 U.S.-based independent sales rep firms and Canadian distributor SF Marketing. He will work in conjunction with EAW’s other territory sales managers in Europe, the Pacific Rim and Latin America to help drive a coordinated worldwide sales effort. Bosaw will be based at the company’s Woodinville, Wash. offices.

Bosaw joined EAW in 2004 as its commercial market manager. He subsequently took over the position of EAW Business Director in 2007. Previously he was the director of sales and marketing for Symetrix and was the U.S. distributor for Australian Monitor.

Bosaw is also a working musician and plays gigs all around the Seattle area as the keyboardist with his band Those Lucky Buzzards.

“During his tenure with EAW, Jon has proven time and again that he is the ‘go-to’ guy for both our sales network and our end-users.” notes Cox. “His commitment to serving our entire customer base with honesty and integrity is unparalleled.”
