iZotope Inc. has released iDrum Version 1.6, a Windows XP/Vista compatible version of its iDrum virtual drum machine software for the Mac. The update is free for registered iDrum customers from iZotope's Website.

iDrum runs as both a stand-alone native application for Mac OS X (Version 10.4.11 or later, including Universal Binary support) and Windows application, and as an RTAS, VST, MAS or Audio Units plug-in for Pro Tools Version 7, GarageBand, Logic, Ableton Live, SONAR, Cubase and more.

iZotope iDrum is distributed to retail stores by M-Audio and is also available directly from iZotope online for $69.99.

This offer is available for all customers, including those who buy the boxed version of iDrum from M-Audio resellers.
