Northern Sound & Light (NSL), an audio and lighting products dealer in McKees Rocks, Pa. (near Pittsburgh) announced the addition of Ken Boswell (pictured) to its sales staff. Boswell is a Pittsburgh native and brings a mix of experience in the live sound, recording and lighting industries.
“NSL is a professionally run company that prides itself on technical expertise. I feel that NSL will provide growth opportunities for my career in the audio and lighting industry,” said Boswell, who joined NSL from regional music store Hollowood Music & Sound in Pittsburgh. In his new position, Boswell will fill an integral position on the sales team by fulfilling customer orders, conducting technical reviews of orders placed and working with manufacturers to address any issues with product availability or technical data.
Over the past 10 years, Boswell has also worked in various freelance positions in live sound, including stage engineer, monitor engineer, front-of-house engineer and backline. “With my hands-on experience, I know most of the major brands and products in the market today and can help almost any NSL customer with their product order,” Boswell adds.
“As we continue to gain popularity in the industry by offering top name brands and award-winning service at the maximum discount price, we will look to hire strategic additions like Ken to our staff,” stated Steve Raslevich, president and founder of NSL. “As always, our phones are staffed with friendly and knowledgeable sales staff who have industry experience.”
