Sibelius Software has announced SibeliusMusic Stores, a new service that allows users to sell and publish their music within a customized, secure online environment.

For a monthly fee of $30 U.S., composers can market themselves and their work through a personalized zone within the SibeliusMusic environment.

Visitors to the site will be able to view, listen to, print, transpose and purchase scores and compositions.

The site has been designed to ensure that all relevant traffic is carefully matched to the composers’ “store window.” Subscribers can regularly update features such as layout, colors, fonts, graphics and images. They can also advertise specific news and upcoming events. Other products, such as sample CDs and MP3s, can be offered as well.

All e-commerce and management of the site is handled by Sibelius, and subscribers can access all information regarding sales and prints.

For more information on the service, visit www.sibeliusmusic.com.
