This Month in Mix
To kick off the second season of the Sundance Channel's acclaimed original music series Live From Abbey Road, Mary J Blige, the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul," will discuss her extraordinary way of combining hip-hop and soul, and perform hit songs, such as her lead single "Just Fine" from her latest album, Growing Pains.
In addition, alternative rock band Dashboard Confessional talk about their experience at the legendary Abbey Road studio, and perform "Hands Down" from their album A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar. Also, English singer/songwriter James Blunt offers a mix of pop, rock and folk with "1973," Blunt's first single from All the Lost Souls, which reached Number One on the World Singles Top 40.
