iKEY Audio, a division of GCI Technologies in Edison, N.J., announces the RM3 ($319.99 MSRP) single-rackspace digital SD/USB recorder. The RM3 is a digital media player/recorder designed for any rack setup for recording in restaurants, houses of worship, schools, home studios, broadcast facilities, meeting and lecture halls, and any permanent install situation.


The RM3 features a full-color LCD screen and a front panel jog wheel for easy file searches. It offers two ¼-inch line inputs on the front panel, as well as a combo XLR/¼-inch stereo jack and stereo RCA inputs on the rear panel. There are also front and rear mic inputs. The RM3 has two balanced XLR outputs and a stereo RCA output for pass-through ability, and a ¼-inch headphone/line output on the front with its own dedicated volume adjustment. An AC adapter, USB cable and 1GB SD memory card are included.


The RM3 records directly onto SD cards up to 4 GB, SDHC cards up to 32 GB, and any supported USB storage device of unlimited memory capacity. The RM3 records in MP3 formats up to 320 kbps, or in WAV format with 44.1kHz/16-bit quality.
