Fraser Jones, president of Independent Audio in Portland, Maine, announces that Smart AV Ltd. in Sydney, Australia has appointed Independent Audio to be the exclusive U.S. distributor for SmartAV's Tango DAW controller consoles.

David Hannay of SmartAV comments, “We have been looking for someone in the U.S.A. to ensure that Tango has comprehensive local customer support there, and we have great confidence that Fraser Jones is the right person to manage this responsibility. With the premier pro audio network that Independent Audio has developed over the years, we feel that we will be well represented and well served in the expanding U.S. marketplace.”

Jones says, "Having Dennis Gaines as our dedicated SmartAV product specialist will give the existing Tango dealers, new dealers, and users with a resource based in the U.S. who can provide fantastic support.”

Gaines adds, “The SmartAV Tango DAW controller is the most flexible DAW controller available, as it can control Nuendo, Logic, Pyramix, Pro Tools, Cubase, and adds features above and beyond the DAW being controlled.“
