LOUD Technologies Chief Operating Officer James Stewart

LOUD Technologies Inc. in Woodinville, Wash., announced on July 25, 2008 the appointment of James Stewart (pictured) as its Chief Operating Officer.

Stewart will be responsible for the core operations of the company including Information Technologies, technical support, service and logistics, as well as management of LOUD’s manufacturing partners. Stewart comes to LOUD Technologies with more than 28 years of experience in the technology industry, with an extensive background as a senior business leader in technology product development and P&L operations management.

“We are excited to have Jim join LOUD’s executive team, where his proven record of success and passion will enable us to achieve our objectives,” says LOUD CEO Jamie Engen. “Jim’s leadership skills will help us fully realize the growth opportunities before us.”

Prior to joining LOUD, Stewart served as vice president and general manager at Hewlett-Packard’s Specialty Printing unit, where he was responsible for the overall business and was successful in growing both the revenue and profit during his tenure.

“I am very excited to be joining LOUD as their COO," Stewart says. "They have great brands and great products and a loyal customer base. There are tremendous opportunities for growing the business and there are a lot of ways to build business capabilities and efficiencies.”
