3 Zigma Audio CHI Audio Mic System
CHI is designed to be a flexible platform based on head amplifiers and interchangeable mic capsules. The CHI head amp is a neutral, transformerless impedance converter, simply fed by standard 48-volt phantom power. It has ample headroom and extremely low noise. The transparent head amp lets you pick the sound and behavior of the capsule to form a combination, offering sounds ranging from transparent and unobtrusive (using the small-diaphragm capsules) and flexible, with many different polar responses to obviously colored (any of the large-diaphragm capsules).

MH Acoustics em32 EigenmikeBThe em32 Eigenmike from MH Acoustics is a unique, scalable microphone array with 32 capsules embedded into a rigid sphere. Individual mic outputs are processed with a beamforming algorithm for capturing/playing accurate 3-D spatial audio. The mic’s directivity pattern (shape and direction) can be controlled in real time or stored for post sound-field processing. It also features electronic steering, remote-control mic pre’s and 24-bit ADCs inside the spherical array and a single Cat-5 cable carrying power, digital mic data and control/status settings. An external interface converts the digital stream to standard FireWire (ASIO drivers supplied) so the mic array appears as a standard 32-channel soundcard.
