Popular Science magazine recognized the Moog Guitar with a 2008 “Best of What’s New" award. The Moog Guitar was selected in the Recreation category, competing against thousands of new products reviewed by the magazine’s editors. To win, a product must represent a significant step forward in its category, according to Popular Science editor-in-chief Mark Jannot.

“For 21 years, Popular Science’s Best of What’s New awards have honored the innovations that make a positive impact on life today and change our views of the future," Jannot says. "Our editors evaluate thousands of products each year to develop this thoughtful list; there’s no higher accolade Popular Science can give.”

Only 100 "Best of What’s New" award winners were chosen in 11 categories.

The Moog Guitar is featured in Popular Science magazine’s special "Best of What’s New" December issue, which arrived on newsstands on November 11. For the complete text of Popular Science's review of The Moog Guitar, visit www.popsci.com/moog.
