Sennheiser and Neumann have teamed with New York City agency Push Creative to co-sponsor "That’s Voiceover!," a comprehensive, one-day voice-over event and career seminar featuring more than 20 industry professionals and voice-over industry insiders from New York to Los Angeles. The event will take place on Thursday, October 6 at and will provide a penetrating look into the world of voice-over acting, as well as outlining the steps required to establish a successful voice-over career.

Hosted by talk show host and author Rolonda Watts and voice-over actor, author and Neumann-sponsored artist Joan Baker, "That’s Voiceover!" will feature first-hand insight from more than 20 industry professionals—including New York City radio personality Valerie Smaldone, high-profile television announcer Joe Cipriano, AFTRA president Gabrielle Carteris, movie trailer voices Bill Ratner and George DelHoyo, and many others. Aspects such as writing, producing, directing and other roles associated with the profession will be covered. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Alzheimer’s Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care and support.

As part of "That’s Voiceover!," Christopher Currier and Christopher Spahr of Sennheiser and Neumann will conduct a special hour-long workshop focused on how to choose the right microphone for the job, as well as how to apply basic studio tips and tricks designed to help bring out the best in a voice-over performance.

Through a partnership with local retailer RSPE, Neumann also will also offer each person who attends a special discount on its line of studio microphones. Neumann will feature its latest studio microphone, the TLM 102, which is perfectly suited to capture the sonic detail of vocals and speech recording.

The "That’s Voiceover!" seminar on Thursday, October 6, begins at 12:30 p.m. and takes place at 8687 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90069.
