PG Music Inc. in Victoria, British Columbia, has released Version 2011 of its PowerTracks Pro Audio for Windows music sequencing and digital recording program.

PowerTracks Pro Audio offers a new élastique Pro V. 2 time stretching and pitch transposition engine, which allows a wider range of tempos for audio tracks than previous versions. It also has new MIDI and audio transpose options for key signature changes, replacing the previous Yes/No dialog for MIDI transpose.

“The élastique Pro V. 2 time stretching and pitch transposition engine...yields excellent results when adjusting the tempo of your audio tracks by a much wider range," says program author and creator Peter Gannon. "Plus, there are updated fly-by hints, including volume and pan settings in the fly-by Track window hints; a new ‘Mini-View’ mode for the Track window; support for long track names and many more. In addition to all of the new features, we are pleased to offer PowerTracks at the same great low price.”
