Panelists include Danny Benair, the founder of Natural Energy Lab, a Los Angeles-based music marketing company specializing in film, television and commercial placement; Alexandra Patsavas, music coordinator and supervisor for numerous television shows, films and soundtracks; Tommy Tallarico, founder/president of Tommy Tallarico Studios, the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) and live concert event "Video Games Live"; and pop/rock band The 88, whose music has been featured in such films as Failure To Launch, Surviving Christmas, and You, Me and Dupree, as well the TV shows Grey's Anatomy, The O.C. and One Tree Hill.

"Unsigned and Making It" will take place Tuesday, August 21 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Recording Academy, 3402 Pico Blvd. in Santa Monica, Calif. The event is free for current Recording Academy members; non-members may participate for $50.
