SAE Institute recently hosted a special day-long series of exclusive seminars presented by eSession. Founded by author, composer and studio owner Gina Fant-Saez and Grammy Award-winning producer and mixer Kevin Killen, eSession is a professional Internet-based collaborative for music recording, mixing and project management, and home to a growing talent pool of some of the world’s finest musicians and audio professionals.
Throughout the day-long demonstrations, Fant-Saez focused on a variety of relevant topics including the current and future direction of the recording process and how eSession uses proprietary tools and protocols to allow recording artists, musicians, mixers and producers to work together in new ways.
The eSession seminars at SAE Nashville are part of an ongoing series of on-campus workshops and seminars that bring manufacturers and leading industry guests to SAE. eSession will be followed in the next few weeks by pro audio icon Alan Parsons, who will visit the SAE Nashville campus on October 26. Additionally, SAE will host two master class sessions by Parsons on October 27, which are open to the general public, to be held at the Musicians Hall of Fame facility located in downtown Nashville.
Tickets are available for $35 for the general public (with special rates for SAE students and alumni) and may be reserved by contacting SAE Institute’s Nashville campus at 615/244-5848 or via e-mail at e.burrows@sae.edu.
