StarCity Recording Company in Bethlehem, Penn. has expanded its engineering staff by adding Julie Miller (pictured). Originally from Lehighton, Penn. and currently residing in Bethlehem, Miller brings to StarCity a long history of professional engineering experience and will play a pivotal role in working with current and upcoming artists recording at the facility.

Prior to joining StarCity, Miller worked at Howard Schwartz Recording, where she was responsible for post-production on several television series, including regular work on The Simpsons and Third Watch, as well as several high-profile feature films, such as The Wedding Planner, Little Nicky, IceAge and Rockstar.

After a short break from engineering to pursue a position in marketing and promotions, Miller was contacted by executive vice president of StarCity Recording Company, Jeff Glixman. Soon after her conversation with Glixman, she decided to pick up her old craft and joined StarCity's staff.

“In the short time that Julie has been with us she has worked on several high-profile projects, including the Rhythm Devils, the Blue Aces, Simone and the Tyrone Vaughan Band,” says Glixman. “As we continue to expand at StarCity, we searched for a candidate that was not only innately talented, but just as importantly a good match for the studio in terms of personality and client relations; Julie definitely fits the bill.”
