Symetrix Inc. of Mountlake Terrace, Wash. has appointed Dallas Dougherty (pictured) to the newly-created position of product and training specialist/field engineer. A personable and energetic communicator, Dougherty will spend most of his time traveling to help existing and potential customers understand the applications for Symetrix technology, listen to their needs and identify solutions. While he will work with all of the Symetrix brands, he will mainly focus on SymNet training and support.

Dougherty has experience in every market that Symetrix covers: recording, live sound/production and installed sound. He worked at Ironwood Studios and the Tank, and was owner of Pink on Vinyl Productions.

"Innovative product design and dedication to the customer are the driving forces behind Symetrix," Dougherty says. "I am excited to be a part of this incredible team, and look forward to promoting the SymNet line through training."

"Dallas is a proven training specialist who will be an asset to the organization," says Paul Roberts, Symetrix' director of sales. "His broad product and industry knowledge make him an ideal fit for this position."
