Making its UAD-2 processing bundle even more accessible, Universal Audio releases the UAD-2 Solo/Laptop DSP accelerator. Incorporating an ExpressCard design, the Mac- and PC-compatible upgrade works with all major digital audio workstations.
The UAD-2 Solo/Laptop comes with several UA Powered Plug-Ins—including the 1176SE Compressor/Limiter, Pultec EQP-1A Program Equalizer, RealVerb Pro Room Modeler and CS-1 Channel Strip—as well as online access to the full Powered Plug-Ins library.
The UAD-2 Solo/Laptop supports VST, Audio Units and RTAS plug-ins and requires no external power supply. The unit comes with a $50 credit for plug-ins in the Universal Audio online store.
