University of Massachusetts Lowell's Control Room 213 was designed by Alactronics' Bob Alach and opened in January 2006. Alach spec'd SLS and Bag End monitors, an API VIsion console, Otari MTR-90 with Dolby SR/A, Pro Tools and an extensive outboard and mic collection. The room features extremely high-resolution, low-distortion stereo and 5.1 surround listening environment for music production. Monitoring and room response is within 1.5 dB from 10 Hz to 40 kHz.
