At Butler University (Indianapolis), the $12 million Fairbanks Center for Communications had a thorough upgrade performed by Professional Audio Design, which was completed in December 2006. The PAD turned a former classroom it into a full-fledged hybrid analog/digital recording and mixing studio, centered around an Audient ACS8024 analog console with Digidesign Command|8 control surface. PAD’s Technical Services Group handled the wiring for the console, as well as all the gear. The new room is wired to the school's existing TV studios so that they can be used as recording spaces.
