 At-a-Glance: Engineer/producer Dave Snyder's new studio includes a variety of acoustic tracking environments and a large control room stocked with a selection of vintage analog gear reminiscent of studios in the '80s. A large live-side/dead-side live room is surrounded by four isolation booths with varying acoustic signatures and good site lines throughout. There is a very "diffuse" isolation booth that features wide-band overhead and wall diffusors that provide a unique open sound in a relatively small room.
