At-a-Glance: This private studio also serves SVR Engineering as a test bed for implementation and evaluation of current trends in control room design. The 18,000-cubic-foot, fully diffuse control room is a room-in-room construction and features an integrated array of large passive bass traps in the walls and ceiling that vary in depth from four to 13 feet. Featuring adjustable IDG and RT-60 time, both soffited and freestanding monitor options exist in this surround environment. The space also includes two live rooms that double as live acoustic chambers.
