At-a-Glance: Incorporating a customized version of studios already created by WSDG for 15 of The Arts Institutes around the U.S., architect/Acoustician: John Storyk developed a 995-square-foot complex designed to provide an optimal learning environment. The studio was built to demanding specs, which included a concrete-over-metal-deck floating floor; high-end, variable acoustic wall treatments; and custom ceiling treatments. To ensure clean, economical conduit runs, the design required a maximum of three 90-degree bends each.
