At-a-Glance: John Lucasey commissioned artist Andrew Phares to make the rear diffusers out of ceramic 3-D tiles in forms of classic film monsters. There are built-in bass traps and a raked ceiling and walls. Parts of the crown molding sets off the walls about four inches to allow more trapping of frequencies. All walls and ceiling use 1 and 3/8th-inch THX-rated Quiet rock for sound isolation. All rooms wired for recording.
