In late summer, the Dave Matthews Band kicked off a massive tour in support of their 2012 release, Away From the World. Mix caught them on their second night out, at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif.

Stefan Lessard's onstage rig includes a Voodoo Lab Ground Control Pro MIDI controller (at left) and a custom-built "Fonz Foot Wedge," a shell built by MT Cases that contains a Clark Synthesis Tactile Sound Transducer.
