Bonnaroo 2013 Photo Gallery

The 12th annual Bonnaroo Music Festival was a great success once again. The sold-out event saw more than 85,000 fans converge on Manchester, Tenn., to be part of the only festival goes from dusk til dawn.

Paul McCartney, Jack Johnson (a last-minute replacement when Mumford & Sons had to cancel), and Tom Petty headlined the main stage each night. Bonnaroo is known for it's eclectic lineups and this year did not disappoint. Bjork, Of Monsters and Men, Jim James (from My Morning Jacket), ZZ Top, R. Kelly, The Lumineers, Portugal. The Man, and an endless list of bands played the two main stages and the three tents.

There was an '80s revival of sorts, as Weird Al Yankovic and Billy Idol played packed late night sets. The Bonnaroo tradition of a "SuperJam" was supercharged this year with John Oates (Hall & Oates) and Jim James (MMJ) leading the festivities. Guests Larry Graham (Sly & Family Stone), Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), and cameos from R. Kelly and Billy Idol (appearing after his own set ended) had the crowd rocking until almost 4 a.m.

The weather this year was almost perfect; temperatures were in the mid-'80s each day with a cool breeze (which is often not the case there). There were some showers Sunday during Petty's closing set, but that did not dampen the spirit of the crowd of one of the best U.S. festivals today.
