Celebrating all that is indie, the San Francisco second annual Treasure Island 2008 Festival (September 20-21) featured headliners The Raconteurs and Justice, as well as blistering sets from the likes of Tegan & Sara, Goldfrapp, TV on the Radio, The Kills, Amon Tobin and many others. Sound reinforcement gear was handled by local sound company Sound on Stage (Hayward, Calif.) and Sustainable Waves, which brought out its solar-powered gear for the second stage.
